I just got back from doing my second set of picking up quarters. This time it went a little better but there is a reason for this. For now, I don't try to do the exercise perfectly. What I do is make five stacks of 12 quarters but only pick up 10 of them because the last two would be nearly impossible for me to pick up right now. The perfect way to do this exercise would be to pick up each of the 10 quarters one at a time from the stack.
Occasionally, however, I will pick up two or three quarters at the same time and count it as one. The last quarter is the hardest one to pick up and I will try to pick this quarter up at least 10 times or until I do pick it up. This will make up for the quarters that were picked up at one time. Remember the exercise is not about being perfect but trying to be perfect and focusing on the correct way to do the exercise. Commit yourself to constant improvement. "Whether you think you can or can't you're right". (Henry Ford)
Now I'm off to do my third round of exercises!
