This gave me encouragement. So I tried to dedicate myself to doing at least three sets a day every day and I did it. For one whole week I did three sets a day. Not surprisingly, the following week I had some residual effect and at OT the following week I was able to get my saeboflex glove on much easier and it became easier to use. I was able to transfer more rubber balls with not as much effort opening and closing the hand more fluidly! WOW! And I thought all that work was getting me nowhere. I continued for another week every day. And amazingly it worked again. This time I was able to transfer 416 rubber balls in one hour! By the way, prior to this four week period. The things I could do were nowhere near what I can do now! Guess I'll keep on doing the three sets per day and see what happens next. Remember exercise works and the more reps the better no matter how long it's been since your stroke I'm out 6.5 years and I'm making progress!!
